This is one of the best investments I ever made. I own an unlocked version. Everything works smoothly. I manage a full working day off a charge using 4g when I am moving around so its a work station. The volume could be louder bit I can hear it ring and my calls are clear. When paired with the station. its a whole new experience l have read some negative reviews and I wonder if we are talking about the same product. At the end of the day we all comment based on our experience and mine has been positive. I look forward to any upgrade. Too many so-called expert reviews are overly subjective in my humble opinion. That is why there is the concept of choice based on needs. The padfone x suits my needs. Amen.

moe k, 13 Nov 2014same problem here - stuck in perpetual airplane mode - neit... morehate when my pad phone that glitch you got stuck in airplane mode they said it was a switch inside the phone in the Asus I had to send it back to them they replace my phone for freeso it's a manufacturer defect so I be on their ass about it don't let him get away with it

This i s thee wors e oi ecd that is a good example.this is the worse piece of electronic equipment i've ever purchased. The pad didnt work after three days,had to return it. Letters skipp lin es,i get em ails over 24 hours late,never had this problem before.a lot of times the phone and or pad want go to the tab you touch,or most of time ant go at all.I have to const antly reboot i t. Im leaving some imperfections on purposes to show how difficult it is. The worst is it just doesnt go on tabs to where and ho w it sho uld go. AS YOU can see it ta kes forever to send a message or write anything you have to constantly go back and corr ect everything. Now im stuck with this worthless phone for a long while.

They all bricked and were stuck in airplane mode when they finally powered on. AT&T referred me to the manufacturer. I spoke with two Asus reps who told me the serial number for the phone AT&T sent me weren't in their system. FTW

dude this phone sucks you never wanna know about da battery life but totally agree that this is a high end mobile but moto G 2generation better than this and its lot low price.peace

Phone is horrible I suggest this phone to no one I've had this phone since July this is currently my 3rd one my first one crashed turned back on and was stuck in airplane mode had it replaces for free second one lasted a little long crashed turned back on and couldn't get it to read service or 4g said it was damaged again got another one free had it for four days crashed turned back on and airplane mode was stuck again finally had enough fought and fought with Asus company waiting for them to send me a totally new phone this phone absolutely sucks but when it works with out the glitches and being slow its actually a pretty cool concept other than that I do not recommend this phone.

bought it. had for 10 days. took it back. basically the phone is a pretty high end phone. The tablet is a complete and total dud.

Is it going to be $199USD? What about Malaysia? Probably the price is not gonna be the same.
Does it work smoothly?
Please people, tell me. Is it even gonna be available here in Malaysia, knowing that it's AT&T?
And if it will be, will the price be the same? What would it be, then? Where can I get it from?
