My Mom got me this phone close to my birthday about 8 months ago and as of May 3 2024 I feel like I should throw this phone out of a window of a Car going 220 miles per hour, by that I mean it is complete dog shit, It randomly shuts off, apps always misbehave, and there is only 32 gigabytes, on it. I feel like whoever created this phone should be paying us for using it, to make their company go bankrupt faster.

They verify that it is unlockable then send you 2 codes through email. That's how I unlocked my phone that was originally through trac phone anyways.

Not a terrible phone. Got it for free from my cousin and I got it unlocked and he got a Q Link SIM card for it. FYI: Q Link is absolutely horrible. The 3 gigs of ram is ok. The storage could be 64gb. It could support other frequencies like 14 and a few others. The display is ok the color is horrible. I don't recommend an LCD display but moto has some impressive ones on their power series. Overall not a lot of complaints about the phone.

I am back with an updated opinion. First of al this phone drops calls like I have never experienced before. Also I see in the specs this is a 4G capable phone, not 5G. If so then I was lied to because I was assured this was 5 G capable. I feel cheated and although Safelink and Tracfone are free, I may go to TMobile where there is good service

I have the Blu View 3 also and live in Florida. The service is not great what with maybe 2 signal bars and dropped calls. I got the phone thru Safelink they went to Verizon & this all started. My provider before that was T-Mobile and no problems ever with thir service. Verizon has gone down hil over the years since I worked there. So, is it the phone, Blu View 3 or the provider, Verizon?

I was experiencing the exact same problem during that period. I thought it may have been the service plan i bought that month through straight talk. I called repeatedly and was passed around from representative to representative that all said the exact same thing, to reset the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, to turn it off and wait for 30 minutes then turn it back on, to try and make a call, and they all had to update my information and then tell me that they would pass me to a supervisor and each time the phone got disconnected. Eventually it finally started working again thankfully.

I am on Tracphone, and wanted to upgrade to a smartphone from a basic flip phone.
I wanted a decent enough smartphone for basic use without all the bells and whistles..... and

I do not advise you to invest in this phone, because the camera is poor (is not able to read QR codes) If you do not know the market well, it could tempt to buy this phone due to its low price, but the performance and fluidity are not there. For $50 more, you can find phones that perform a little better, but don't build your hopes on entry-level phones.

Jesse, 20 Apr 2022I am on my second one. First one I had to factory reset dai... moreCurious if you got this figured out...I wasn't using a Blu phone, but a Rokit & my bf was on an G7, but we both had the same problem as you, very near the same time...my bf had received notices for mths about straight talk going to Verizon, with instructions. I have yet to receive one. But when I called straight talk at the time (a chore in itself) I asked the rep if my problems were because of the changeover...she said no. I asked for someone else eventually & got a higher up person in the end. Turns out I was right & she had to instruct me on how to reset mobile data or internet network (?) manually myself in order for my phone to function. It worked. But for awhile I was doing it a few times a day. It's been weeks since I've done it last.
Point is, I had to not take the gloss over answers that were intialy given and be rather firm about getting my service fixed on the spot before I got a straight answer and it fixed. Had nothing to do with my phone like they tried to tell me. (Oddly enough, my bf phone was behaving again too, without doing anything to it by the next day.)

I can't comment on the phone part because I only use it on wifi. Works fine though for my needs, just used adb app control to delete and disable bloatware to free up some space and ram. Speaker is very loud! Laggy in games like Pokemon Go but still playable.

I just received the phone yesterday and I have done everything I can possibly do to get a microphone on my Gboard when on Google. I have the mic on texting and all other apps. I had to download a different keyboard to get the mic. And the picture quality stinks. You also have to pay $1.99 to get photo editing. But I also got the phone, unlimited talk and text plus 25gb of high-speed data free through SafeLink, so I can't really complain. Lol 😆

The 32gb will work fine for a few apps and maybe a couple games but the text, talk and hotspot are why I really needed it. Also expected a old flipper or generic tiny touchscreen one. Nice.

Took about 10 business days to get but was pleasantly surprised at how nice of a phone they sent. I was expecting an old used flip phone or something! If you get approved for both the Lifeline and ACP program then you get the phone + unlimited talk, text and 25gb of data and 5gb of hotspot data. Not bad. Overall this is a very responsive phone and does everything I need. Obviously it's not a flagship phone with a retail price around 50-60 bucks but hey, it was free! Anyone complaining about storage issues should take a few minutes to go through and remove all of the pre-installed apps that you don't need, there are quite a few! That will free up quite a bit of space and RAM as well from useless apps running in the background. I also keep the data saver feature on and use WIFI calling whenever possible.
