      Flashed it to 11, doesn't have the screen-power button in the pull-down menu. Flashed it to 12 and living our best life, 3.5 years after release. Still get a day+ on a charge no problem. Moto G84 is calling my name though... should I upgrade?

            This phone has been ruined by Android 11, 12, and 13 cause multitouch function isn't working unlike Android 10

              The phone flashlight turns off automatically saying that the device is too hot. After receiving the November 2023 update nothing changed.

                  Great phone! Have used it for three years. The weakest points are: the battery performance has declined significantly, the screen got a bit duller, and one of the speakers stopped working

                      Good smartphone. I bought it in December 2020. The camera is excellent even today. The interface works almost as smoothly.
                      There are also some problems. The display is a little faded after almost three years of use. The battery almost died after 700 charging cycles. I would like to change the battery and continue to use it, but after the fall there is a crack in the glass, due to which when replacing the battery the matrix will most likely be damaged. Unfortunately this phone will soon have to retire.

                                It's still very smooth in 2023, love this little phone.😘
                                It would have been better if Google had not removed Pixel 4a from the Android 14 plan.🙄

                                  My Pixel 4a is still excellent after 2.5 years. Performance is still buttery smooth. The battery had mysterious drain issues in June and July, but August 2023 update fixed that.

                                    I liked phone for most of the time. Unfortunately few days ago, after taking couple pictures in some light rain my screen stopped to be responsive. After few hours some bleeding appeared on screen and i couldnt unlock phone. Unlucky for me it was my last Holiday day. Couldnt get access to my boarding cards. So I just want to warn users to not expose phone on rain.
                                    I read few comments about even little exposure to water damaged screen for some users.

                                        I purchased Pixel 4a in replacement of Essential PH-1 at the end of January 2021. It did manage well for a while but the battery life struggled after only a year and half of daily normal to heavy usage.
