I have one of these and it's updated to Android 5 (android lollipop) it has a damaged LCD and has a problem with google play that it keeps stopping and annoys me.

this lg pad is amazing i have this for almost 6 years now, long battery life and and very durable, still functional, godd for daily use... love it❤️

It has been doing the following things from the time I bought it: "High tempereature, shutting down for your safety" It always does this unless it is on a charger. Can you help me?

OK tablet. I mostly use it for streaming music to bluetooth speakers and watching tv/movies on the road. I was on the road when I purchased it, out of the box it came with KitKatt, connected to my Sony cube bluetooth speakers, I was happy. Ran the Lolipop upgrade and now those speakers connect but the stream cuts out every two seconds. Speakers don't do that with any other device. Also when I'm streaming music from iHeart or another streaming service, that stream gets disconnect if I try to browse the internet while the stream is playing.

My Gpad always, and I mean ALWAYS overheats. I get maybe 10-15 minutes of Instagram before it "shuts down for my safety". Most of the time, I can't even feel any heat. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I find it very frustrating. It's been doing this for a year now, so it started before it was even a year old.

i believe you can;
in Google devices ..
it will show with accuracy where it is..and if you use Google i suppose- but:
on your pic in the browser: go to Account: look under Device activities
