wow paksiw! i think this will be the phone im gonna buy. i have been waiting to buy a new phone but the phones that were previously released are either too expensive or have many problems. i think this phones gonna be nice.

Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will go on sale by the end of 2008 only in the following markets :
- India
- Taiwan
- Hong Kong
- Indonesia
- The UAE
- Spain
- Russia
Other markets (UK, North America, China, etc) that aren't included in the above list only be getting the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in 2009 at the same time.
According to industry analysts, Nokia plans to sell about 10 million touchscreen handsets in 2009. But, I think is that this number won't be reached with the 5800 XpressMusic only.

in fact, MMS is a lot more popular than email.

This phone looks quite sleek and its gives that black texture that makes it so hot.
The general specs looks impressive...so i would recomment ...

People use more BT and MMS than email? Where's your proof? For BT, it's used more for making calls, and the iphone does have that BT feature. Why would I pay extra fees to send MMS when I can email it with no extra fees? See, you are not making sense. Email is still more popular and actually more dependable than MMS. It's the award that counts, and the iphone got it. That would only mean that the other phones are even more disappointing, lol. Yes, the iphone has the best UI, and that is a big thing. Bigger than MMS and BT. You need to straighten up your perspective and priorities my friend. Of course you have to pay premium with the iphone because you get premium services like 3G, firmware upgrades, apps support and maintenance, etc. You do not get those extras from Nokia. Iphone is one of the best multi-media devices, if not the best. Where have you been in the past two years? LOL. What's wrong with you is, you give so much value to little features and you miss the bigger picture.
Of course there's nothing wrong with plastic displays. It just scratches easily =) You don't believe me when I say that all camera phone's photo quality are crap compared to digital cameras? I guess you never used a digital camera.
I'm not here to discourage anyone to buy this phone. It's a good buy. I just don't like it when Nokia fans diss a better device like the iphone =)

sincerely this phone looks very similar to the iphone, even in its characteristics... indeed why didn't they make the internal memory of 16 GB and an 8GB expandable memory and also the camera resolution why is it so low.... well, hope it comes out to b tham i'm wrong...

Nokia finally made a phone with touchscreen and all the good features!!!!!!!!! I really like this phone. I think i need to start saving money for this phone later haha.

Looks very cool!All the specs are promissing.But I am afraid about the price because NOKIA manages to keep high rates.I look forward to it!!!

I just read the review and the spec on the phone. It looks pretty good look better. Nokia has come out with with new heavy hitter like the N series. Will the north America cell companies will be adding to there service?

are you afraid the revenge from nokia?this only the start of the dynasty of nokia.go and spend your money to buy the iphone here in greece it costs 499euro the 8gb and 579euro the 16gb for what?only for a big ok very good screen?what else?photo?video recording with the cycoder?for what?

I wanted to get another iPhone 3G but I am going to get this one instead. It seems to meet all the criteria that I have for a mobile device, plus it has touchscreen. What more could you want? I have now been using my E65 for 6 months now and I like it very much. When it comes out I will order one for me and maybe also one for my lovely wife ;) But don't tell her.....I want it to be a surprise =>

You refuse to accept the plain facts even when they are there right in front of you. People use bluetooth and mms more than they use e-mail (which 5800 also handles). Its a fact. And the magazines that praised it were not as many as the websites that posted disappointing reviews. Even mobile-review.com got DNS attacks because of the not-so-friendly review. The iphone had the best UI, but that was it. Under the hood, it wasnt all fun and games. And the worst part is that you have to pay a premium for it. Iphone had the potential to become one of the best multimedia handsets around, but the fact that it was stripped of some of the most basic and important features left much to be desired. And there is nothing wrong with using plastic instead of glass. It still gets the job done nicely. This is a midrange handset.
Iphone vs iphone 3g? The only major differences were 3g and gps being added. They still didnt take care of the iphones original problems.
All phone camera's are crap? Youre being silly. Have you seen how good pictures come out in some phones like n82, 6210, innov8? Just accept the facts. At the end of the day, the 5800 phone rocks more. Besides, people will buy this one because its much more affordable.

Finaly my waitting is over. i was waitting for Nokia to come with touch screen device. let's face it this is not a PDA, but most pepole will love it. here is what i like about it. first it's Symbian, Wi-Fi, 3.2" screen, music player, and 3.2MP carl zeiss lens and 30fp video record. what alse average user will need ? personaly i have tried all brand and i would stick with nokia. nokia is the best and forget about the rest.
