Purchased in 2014. Now it is used as a "secondary phone" - just purchased another cheap 1 year phone plan costing $100/year (works out to $8.33/mo). A good cheap PHONE when you need a PHONE.

KY, 29 Jun 2022The samsung S3 is unusable in 2022 you kids cannot use this... moreIt being unusable is a bit of a stretch, sure jellybean is old and unsupported but you can load Android 12 on it through a custom rom and still get latest versions of apps, (with slightly major lag and stutter ofc), all that aside if you still main a Galaxy S3 after 10 years i salute you ^^

You can't install modern apps you must use old versions and generally old versions aren't supported by their servers. A least S4 is usable today because Android kitkat is the most old system to be supported and you can install modern apps like : Snapchat, Instagram, Whatsapp and others....
