If you don't understand why some people buy Xperia phones to play PUBG, then read the comments that me and other guys was talking about. A person who listens only the half of the story and being loud is a fool. You need to listen the whole part of the story. Being loud without any knowledge is like being an idiot

I have been using all Sony flagship devices right from 2011 till date without missing any. This was one of my worse experience and equally one of my best experience too. This phone make me have a mixed feelings... Sometimes great sometimes so annoying and sometimes just don't know what to do most with it.. it's a great phone but my expectations was more than what i actually got.
Pros
1. Great music with Bluetooth or headphone jack
2. Nice stereo separation on speak output
3. Very durable
4. Great built and handling
5. Better fingerprint than other previous models
6. Display should be great but mine has some brownish black and even worst when on 120hz refreshment. This makes me stop using always on display because it doesn't seems dark everywhere around the clock.. Sony should have fixed this..
Cons.
1. Phone overheating issues and even more when on 120hz refreshment
2. Inconsistent camera quality.. camera is not so good compared to other flagship devices. Front camera is a mess.... It's not the camera phone i thought it was
3. Battery life is less than average on if you're a gamer or do stay on the internet a lot or do lot of multitasking
4.phone software is very wield sometimes and some apps like calling app do crash most time.. a bit fixed now with android 13 but still need to be fixed more.(Hoping for Android 14 and 15 if possible)

JSK888, 02 Nov 2023Yes, I completely agree with you.Sooooooooo right i feel like the front cam is built for a 2006 phone it can't be real soooo bad guys and the best thing in this phone supposed to be the camera ( even the back camera is not as they say for pictures in a low light area ) so i regret buying this phone i thought i will be special lets go iphone again

got a used Xperia 1 III from Cash converters in the UK for £225
Absolute bargain, great screen, great build quality, and the battery is actually very good (even more surprising considering it is a used phone), very good stereo speakers.
The reasons to upgrade to the latest 'V'Model , better battery, brighter screen, better sound.
Not really worth that extra £1000. The phone does run hot when doing lots of gaming, updates, multiple apps, but for me it ticks alot of boxes and the camera is very good and nice and easy to use. I might even get rid of my Sony RX-100 Camera. When the Xperia 1 V comes down in price I might trade in at CEX.
