Dear Friends
Those who got their Spice Mi500 in good condition, pls. use power bank for charging. I, too faced similar battery problem... I, got it from Chennai thru common friend in Anna-Nagar area. Now I, am using it thru power bank up 90% charging only..
Its very bad on company's part by not providing after services... We just cannot depend on few new company's..

I have a spice mi 500 smart phone runing good average since September 2012 but batteries is not available anywhere service centr nor at company direct customer care however this good fone will useless only not available of battery in market or company too
why they changed battery desines in every new models
they are chiting all customers . Lonch new models every year but not guranted after sels parts services any type of need the final loss beared by customers

I bought this phone with a high ambition to fulfill my wish But strange to comment that, such a company selling products and never think of post service. Battery is a major issue with this phone. After 3 months of purchase my battery got swelled up and battery not available. I have thrown away the phone. Company should be shut down immediately. Wastage of money.

Phone is god BUT NOW I STARTED HATING THE BRAND SPICE.
They sell the phone but they do not have battery for the phone.
I am sick of sending emails and calling them.
They say they cannot help me.
I asked them to refund money for my phone which is absolutely working fine but without battery is just a failed device in a drawer.
First the company could not handle SPICE telecom and so it was brought by Idea Cellular.
Now the company is selling mobile phones. Later another company will take over and the handsets will no longer be supported.
Cheap company. Bad service.
