It worries my why i cant use another Network SIM on my Garmin fone without the unlock code. can someone please help give me a better way of getting the code without being scammed by the 'so called' web sites who estort money under the pretex of sending the codes?

Reset with Hard Keys
Step 1
Power down the phone. If the phone is unresponsive from a forgotten lock code or total freeze, perform a battery reset. Remove the battery, wait five seconds, then reinsert the battery.
Step 2
Press and hold the left directional key and the Power button simultaneously. It's easy to accidentally press the Up or Down directional keys on the directional pad at the same time, so take care to only press the left key.
Step 3
Continue holding the left directional key and Power button as the phone powers up. After 10 seconds the message “WIPE USERDATA” appears. Release the buttons when this displays. The phone will reset, then restart.

It could be that the device is asking for the unlock code so you can use it in another network. Try and start the phone up with no SIM in it, and see what happens.

i restored my garminfone to factory default by pressing masterclear.its requesting for network lock code which i dont have,and i dont khnow...my customercare cant help mi neither do i have the user guide.
