TCL 20 Pro 5G has a built in IR Blaster in it. I know as I use it all day long. Not sure why it is not listed here.
As for screen outdoors, it is still readable in some shade or not in direct sunlight. In direct sunlight it is visible faintly.

I read about how TCL owns ALCATEL and they use different fastboot commands to unlock the bootloader, I haven't tried it yet. Here is the website that I found:

I have the TCL 20.pro and I am from Sri Lanka. This phone was bought from the sole agent here. And still it's stuck on android 11. It's very frustrating. Is there any method to install Android 12 atleast? Anyone pls help.

I... moreSadly , while the phone was good in its day TCL has zero interest in the mobile phone market and has walked away from all upgrades going forward. Probably time to look at one of the real major players like Samsung for example, who see the mobile market segment as something they will continue to invest in

Has anyone with the T810H received the Android 12 update? I'm baffled that my phone is still on Android 11. Is the update region or model specific?

sweetberto, 16 Feb 2023i just updated mine to 12I updated to android 12 and my outgoing calls keep getting dropped I receive the message on my screen( times out no response) called my provider they told me it's a TCL issue and must be resolved by them. Hope this will happen soon.

It is eligible, but it will never get it, nor is it getting security updates. Last Security update was April 1, 2022.

About headphones, if you use Poweramp you can set Wired a bit louder via HiRes to 384khz (No DVC) This option in the player sets the Dac to run a few dB higher (noticeably). Shame the onboard amp is indeed so mediocre as the sound is decent. And regular OpenSL bugs in apps, and there is no built in EQ to the OS. I have Android 12, T810H and havent had issues with crashes since i reset but i do wish TCL gave more customization and more patches. version v4.0.5EDW
