Do me a favour, sell your Samsung Phone and start using only Tecno flagship whatever as your main device, come back in 2 months time and give me your unbiased opinion/review. Xiaomi didn't start out with flagships and was once considered "Just Xiaomi" as well. I think it's unfair to judge a brand by their previous product releases and for the record, Tecno's low end and midrange phones have always had quite good quality for their price. I'm a Samsung fanboy and all, but i have used Tecno's phones as supporting devices over the years and they deliver what they promise. The problem most people have is expecting a $200 phone to deliver the same experience a $1000 phone would. That's asking for the moon.

This is a processor that rivals snapdragon 8 gen 1. I've always put Tecno's phones in the low end to midrange sections before now, but with the Phantom x2 pro, i must confess I'm impressed. The only thing I found lacking is 8k videos for the back camera which even the Google pixel 6 pro which is almost similarly priced, lacks. The processor is great, screen is top notch, camera is nice, charging speed is decent. It really does compete with some flagship devices. And since it's not a thousand dollars like the killer flagships, i believe it's worth it.

          I have an Infinix Zero Ultra (Transsion owned company as well as this), that is a much cheaper phone than this and has excellent haptics, so I would assume this one has good haptics as well. I haven't used one so I don't know.

          On the software update side I have to agree sadly, I have a Tecno Camon 18 Premier as well and it is still stuck on Android 11, May 2022 security update. Infinix seems to be much better with updates, still not great, but better for sure.

          Display is FHD, not HD. Most phones use this resolution and anything higher than it, is just pointless.
