I agree that they could have used any Dimensity 7xx or 8xx over Helio G99 without raising the price too much, but Pova series has a certain target in the market that doesn't has demands for 5G connection, even if Dimensity chipsets are more powerful. Also, Tecno can still do a 5G version of this phone later, who know?
My only sincere complain about Helio G99 is the fact that it doesn't support video recording in 4k@30fps.

All I can say is, this phone is wow
-V notch with AMOLED, yes V notch but it's not a deal breaker for that
-6000 mAh and with 45w charging brick :O
-it has a latest g99 that outperform Helio g96!
Though Helio g95 would preform better than g99 due to higher architecture, but at least g99 have 6nm which made it's power efficiency alot better than Helio g95! (I think)
I don't think its that bad, but this is just another a bias opinion toward many smartphone! haha

There are Dimensity chips they could've gone with even at this price point. I mean over 2 years ago the Xiaomi Redmi 10X 5G had the Dimensity 820 for 200 euros.

pros:
-using newest and powerful (favorite) chipset the helio g99
-fast charging 45w (wow)
-connection (it has nfc)
-headphone Jack 3.5mm
-cheap (you can buy this if you can't buy rog,nubia redmagic,blackshark and legion)
cons:
-it has a v water drop (keep it up tecno)
-still 4g
-bad camera (not recommended for social media user,im sorry)
-fingerprint not in a screen (unflagship moment)

This phone literally have better charging how is it worse than before? It's actually better that its faster I ain't going back to 18w or below charging speed i need to juice up my device fast, because i need to be in places

Those saying it's a bad phone just because the battery has reduced don't know much about phone. This new model comes with a fast charging that can charge it from zero to 100 in an hour. It's not always about big battery, but how fast can you charge it. Nobody wants to spend hours nowadays trying to recharge his phone.

Reducing the size and the battery was a bad idea
Honestly I'm disappointed. I think I'm gonna stick with my pova 3.

For those who are ranting about the downgrades from the past POVA Models
Lemme explain a fact to you.
You can get more FPS on this G99 x 720p display pairing than the POVA 3's G88 x 1080p display
In all games that you can ever imagine
The price of this thing is significantly lower than POVA 3's
While i do think 18 watts charging is annoying and slow as hell
6k mah over 7k mah is not that low
Heck even flagships have 4.5k mah battery lol
Also im talking about the POVA 4 not the PRO

Am disappointed in this in phone pixel and battery capacity reductions because pova 2 has more and I expected pova 4 pro to do better
