    Just bought this phone as my back-up phone for Php 2898 or USD 52 for the top specs, 128 GB. So far so good.

      S, 07 Jan 2024What is a better choice? 1) Buying an entry level android ... moreMy highest spec. phone is Xiaomi Mi6 6+64. I used it for work which required switching between 5-6 apps to finish job. It lasted 6 years before having occasionally ghost touch. Then I switched to Nokia C21.

      My lowest spec. phone is Nokia C21 2+32. I used it for radio listening, video viewing and news reading as I have retired already. It ran fast and I am very happy with Android Go Edition due to it requires low resource. But it lasted 9 months because I can't switch between Keep and Chrome without reload and reload all the time (Major). Also I can't use it for shoping app smoothly and can't enjoy photo taking (Minor). Then I switched to Tecno Spark Go 2024.

      I select this model because it has better spec. but with low resource requirement Android Go Edition. Ram extension helps lesser reload. Shoping app runs smooth and photo quality is acceptable. Overall performance is quite good at my expectation on this price.

        What is a better choice?
        1) Buying an entry level android phone with $75 and use it for 2.5 year?
        2) Buying an mid range android phone with $150 and use it for 5 year?

          Tester 01, 20 Dec 2023I just bought it on Dec. 12, and here's my experience ... moreI really love it's camera, clear and it's contrast was smooth, but suddenly during new year at my last capture my camera doesn't able to be use and it's light don't turn off and when you open the camera app it says try again later cause the camera error. The battery drained because of the camera's light uses it, and now it doesn't charge any percentage, my phone doesn't turned on.

            its kinda good but it suddenly get hot when used within an hour i cannot use it well cause it heats so much some times.

              Genshin type games are not playable on these devices at all and also users are not recomended to buy cheap phones for gaming type usage.
              Entry level android phones are useful for call, sms, whats app, maps, youtube, watching offline movies, videoes, listing music, browsing few websites, online shopping, net banking, reading news & books and a little bit gaming.
              That's all users can do on entry level phones.

                S, 28 Dec 2023I would not suggest anyone to buy entry level android devic... moreistg people would ask me all the time "can 100usd x phone" run x game and x game. If only the Infinix GT 10 Pro release in the Philippines I would automatically say that, but the cheapest "gaming phone" I can really recommend is the Poco F5, even that cost around 320-350usd average here.

                But still, I agree to your pont. Who really buys a very cheap phone just to play the likes of Genshin, or mainly focuses on gaming as a whole.

                  This device just lacks 5G, otherwise this device is a decent buy for every entry level user who uses call, sms, whats app, maps, youtube, movies, music, online shopping, net banking etc.

                    An entry level device can be used for gaming like PUBG for 1 year or max 2 year after the device was purchased.
                    Then these devices can't keep up with latest versions of those games because of game size increases, ram need increases etc.
                    So, rathar buy a mid range device within 150 to 200 USD and then user can use it for 3 to 5 year for gaming although lag may occur as device gets older.

                    I am using android since 2013, thus sharing my experience.
                    My 1st phone was within 50 USD, 2nd one was within 100 USD and 3rd one which i am using now for writing this comment, was bought with around 150 USD in year 2020.
                    Next time i will buy phone within 100 to 150 USD as my requirements are fullfilled within this price range.

                      Someone, 27 Dec 2023Having the "GO" in the name doesn't mean its... moreOld flagship units are risky cause let's assume somehow a old flagship device start malfunctioning after purchase, then what to do?
                      Repairing it would be costly as it is a flagship device.
                      And getting good old flagship device within 100 USD is tough too, then there are headache of old android version within it.

                      It's better to buy a 100 USD new device with latest android version and try to use it for minimum 3 year and maximum 5 year as most apps used by people gets support till 5 year i saw like new version of apps can be installed on 5 year old version.
                      But after that device slowly starts to lose app support and become partial dead.
                      Browsers like chrome, opera, opera mini can be used on old devices but experience becomes laggy.

                        Having the "GO" in the name doesn't mean its using Android GO for its OS, Its just some Android GO Features are in the Phone. This Phone can Run Small to Hard Games Like Mobile Legends, Wild Rift, Roblox, Genshin, HSR and many more. I Tried playing these games and it works like a charm. But I Suggest getting 4GB+4GB RAM as its better for gaming rather than the 3GB. It Can switch to tabs like fast too. I'm Very Suprised also that it can run High Graphics on Hard Games in Roblox. For a Phone at this Price Range its very good. But You can also buy an old Flagship Phone if you want but if you are looking for latest units, I suggest just buy this :) LMK if you read this and want me to answer some of your questions :D

                          Don't just see amazon type website where not enough info is available.
                          Check multiple websites, videos before buying mobiles as it clears many doubt.

                            I am willing to know, can this device manage CHROME browser without much problem or not like can handle 2 or 3 tabs opened at same time and can switch between them without lag or delay?

                              I just bought it on Dec. 12, and here's my experience camera is so so you can still capture clear image with the right angle and lighting... Gaming (Wildrift) 90fps
                              It can handle it perfectly 90fps is consistent on this phone didn't even experience fps drop once on this phone.. temp while playing around 39-40°c which is understandable with it's processor not being a gaming one.. and oh I really love the back panel of the black so smooth can't even tell from the look if it's spark go or spark 10 pro cause they look the same... No special features like game space but still ok.. charging time insanely long but still ok.. I got it for only 2,799 pesos. Lazada shop

For example a LG G8x, a Samsung Galaxy S9+, Note 9, or a Pixel 4 XL (all of them with signs of use, of course). These may have a less powerful battery, but they work better than this "phone", and don't worry about updates, because Tecno won't update their phones either.
