The Top 10 trending phones of Week 15

12 April, 2015

In another issue of our now traditional weekly Top 10 trending chart we see long-standing champion Samsung Galaxy S6 at the top once again. In the absence of any genuine flagship competition, we don't see that changing at least until the launch of the LG G4 towards the end of the month.

The Top 10 trending phones chart is a recap list of the devices that gathered the most hits throughout the week. In other words, the chart represents the interests of the majority of you, our visitors, and is an indication of what currently interests you.

Runner-up is another familiar face, the affordable Galaxy Grand Prime 5-incher. The Top 3 is completed by the Apple iPhone 6, which was all the way down in number 10 merely two weeks ago put shot to prominence last week in number 4.

The most notable new contender this week is the Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML which enters straight in number 6. For a company that sold a total of 10,000 smartphones in Q1 2014, Asus is well represented with the Zenfone 5 A500CG in tenth position. The company's ambitious target of 30M smartphone sales this year may be well founded after all.

I partially agree. I've often got the impression this article is here purely to show that Apple are still generating interest, even if it seems the majority of GSMArena readers either don't care or don't want to hear about it.

Stop this article. Ìts only here to try to give Apple relevance between phone releases. Then at least those staff can have some peace, not having to remind all the shop managers to vote for the Apple interest on a daily basis.
