I bought a dock for a 10" tablet but noticed that it didn't come with an AC adapter. I wasn't going to worry about it but when the 7.7" Excite is in the dock, the red exclamation point pops up for the power. So I decided that I should buy an adapter. Is that how you got your 7.7" Excite to work in a dock for a 10" tablet, i.e., did you have to plug in an AC adapter? And please comment on the HDMI. Thanks!

Love this tablet! 7.7 is the perfect size for all-around use: reading, surfing, in-car GPS, taking photo/video, Skyping, watching Netflix/FiOS, games, etc. It's lightweight enough to hold single-handed, without fatigue, while reading in bed. Colors pop. Processor is fast enough to keep action games looking smooth. I use the tablet with Nimbuzz for VoIP phone calls regularly. The microphone and speaker do very well. This is my third tablet and far-and-away my favorite (Prior tablets were Acer and Asus 10" models). By the way, the Excite 10 docking station will work with the Excite 7.7 (if you cannot source a dedicated 7.7 docking station).
