      Ree, 01 Apr 2024I'm using iqoo z5 from 20 days, there's a lot of ... moreHow many times you charging your phone is doesn’t matter. What is the SOT you are getting? With Gaming BGMI (such an unoptimized Game) 6 hours is a GOOD SOT for a IPS Display phone with 120hz refreshing rate.
      And all the apps are not suitable for 120hz so It's simple to not getting as usual.

        I'm using iqoo z5 from 20 days, there's a lot of problems going on with the phone.

        1) everytime I watch YouTube at 4k after every ad screen starts lagging it happens in 4k only
        2) battery started draining way too fast like I have to charge phone twice a day which is mental for 5000mah battery and yeah I play games for 2 hours max, otherwise all I do is watch YouTube.
        3) 120 hz refresh rate doesn't work sometimes in some games like bgmi, I have to touch 2 3 times to make the button work I guess it's software issues that can be fixed by update
        4) complaint this to company, hope to get update that fixes these issues.

I was using my iQOO Z3 when I commented below, and I checked by Z3 with SD768G, same camera app is doing 4K 60fps. So I assumed my superior iQOO Z5 with identical camera hardware and same camera app will do the same. But now I checked and it is capped at 4K 30fps max. Strange.

                I have noticed there is a difference in software, both uses FuntouchOS 13, but Z3 comes loaded with Vivo app store, vivo dialer by default and for every OTA software update, restarts the phone and then performs update on black screen and then starts.

                Where as with Z5, it does not have Vivo app store, comes with Google dialer by default and performs all OTA updates in the background without any restart. Only after update completion will it restart. It seems Z5 is built keeping the Global audience in mind.

The Qualcomm 778G in Z5 is a very capable SoC, which when coupled with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage provides 4K recording with ease.

                        there is the video where it scratches at level 4, seems like iqoo used cheap noname protective glass.. how is the scratch resistance of the screen?
