idk why the title is (China) but vivo official store (IDN) here sell this same exact one (SD782G), also they doesn't seem to sell 8/8x or 9/9x here..

It is 11 months of use now, for iQOO Z7, so far it is OK, good for daily use. Only the software FunTouch UI I think it would be bettet if they develop it for next update.

Today I visit Vivo Service Center for change softcase on my iQOO Z7 5G. The process doesn't need for 20 minutes. The service was very good and in my opinion, Vivo service / iQOO service is one of the best.
This is my fifth softcase changed, and it still free of charged.

Latest software update is EX_A_14.1.10.9.W20. But my iQOO Z7 is still on Android 13.

On Februari 11, 2024 I did downgrade software via Vivo service center. Finally, my phone came back to Android 13. I did this because I intent to try it and it succesded.
iQOO Z7 5G also get notification software update for Android 14 with security patch February 2024, size 5,58 GB. It still available, I haven't download it yet. Compared to Android 14, yes Android 13 lack of mini windows (small windows) feature for apps, battery log app is better in Android 14.

I'm interested in this phone, but still not sure because of the panel.

Before I buy this iQOO Z7, I'm using Vivo V29e.
In my own opinion about iQOO Z7 :
- Even it only use IPS panel but the brightness was good too in outdoor, my ex V29e even using AMOLED sometimes it dimmed if the phone starting to heat up..
- Main camera quality is good even it don't have ultrawide lens, I can say it was much better than main cam V29e~
- Battery was good too, in same scenario with my ex V29e (60Hz, 50% WiFi & 50% Mobile Data, playing little game & full social media) it can standby up to ± 1 day 6 hours with ± 8 hours Screen-on Time!!
- Charging extremely fast, about 30 min fully charged!!
- Screen response was good even for playing Cytus, much better than my V29e or my other ex phones.
Overall, this is very good phone!!
Like it & I hope next Z series has ultrawide lens!!
I will appreciate it if in can be realized!!

It can standby up to 1 day 6 hours with about 8 hours Screen-on Time~
50% WiFi & 50% Mobile Data, 60Hz screen refresh rate, play some games & watching Youtube + Netflix, Whatsapp about 3-4 hours at working hours.
Charging blazing fast only about ½ hour fully charged~
Screen response is very good too~
Playing Cytus with no issue at all~

New software available 5 days ago. It was PD2270F_EX_A_14.1.10.4.W20 with security patch January 2024.
So far performance looks better than before. I don't find any issue from it Multitasking is fine too. WiFi, Bluetooth connection, Nearby share are fine. Received incoming calls and do outgoing calls are good. I also didn't fine issue on apps installed on my phone.

Ok, I had done install FunTouch OS 14 on my IQOO Z7 on Dec 26, 2024, it was trial version, but I like it.
Performance ia still works good, multitasking is fine. Added feature for small windows. I counted there are 58 apps on default (included apps default on sidebar menu). I also tested, the phone could run 2 apps on small windows (Calculator and Vidio). I think combination of such as Notes and Disney+Hotstar, Message and Calculate, Mesaage and Vidio, etc also can do the job.
Battery life is fine for me. Even in recently I activated monster mode on my IQOO Z7. RAM consumption reached more than 4,5 GB, my phone is 128 GB / 8 GB, still working fast and fine. Charging speed is still fine in 7 months of use now.

Almost approaching Merry Christmas 2023. This phone still doesn't get new software update. Let's wait till new year 2024. 😅
