Week 34 in review: Samsung Galaxy Note8 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A announced

This week saw Samsung finally announce its much-anticipated Galaxy Note8 and naturally we were there to bring you the full coverage. Google made Android 8.0 Oreo official too.

Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 5A, which was the most read news article on our website. The Motorola Moto X4 was also a key talking point after we saw it pictured in the wild, twice.

We heard that the Apple iPhone 8 will have 3GB of RAM and could double the iPhone 7 storage - 64GB/256GB/512GB.

Finally YotaPhone launched its third smartphone and Micromax launched a $155 smartphone with a 18:9 display.
