Mike, 03 Jun 2024Don't buy this phone. Big issues with network. Wifi tu... moreStop spreading BS. The international and Mid-east variants work FLAWLESSLY with zero issues. Well ok there is still the issue that Moto is extremely slow with OS Updates. But aside from that the phone works perfectly.
I have 2 in the family along with a A54 5g, and the Neos slaughter the A54 in terms of speed and functionality.

Don't buy this phone. Big issues with network. Wifi turns off by itself and the cellular data often doesn't work. Also all notifications from communication apps are not arriving and all of the apps don't work properly.

heythere, 12 May 2024Then will you go back to edge 40 again? also, which one do ... moreBetween the two I choose the Edge 40 Neo, the Samsung A54 has very good cameras and regular updates, but the user interface is very heavy and slow, believe me, it even had trouble loading some web pages that had a lot of images!
Most importantly, I had serious problems with my eyes during the time I had A54, there have been many reports of user problems with the new Super AMOLED panels.
For this reason, I sold the A54 and bought a Moto G73, which has a high-quality and non-harmful IPS panel, and its battery is better than the Edge 40 Neo + microSD + headphone jack.

A blatant cash grab. Slower, has less features and still is more expensive than the previous Motorola Edge 40. But you get a nice color palette for the $40 surcharge. Hooray!

Good phone - really lightweight.
Battery life is really good, with moderate usage I went 3 days on a single charge. Charge it up from 10% to 90% in 45 minutes.
Android 14 was promised and my phone didn't get it, i saw yt videos of others having it. I saw some ppl have no updated as well.

I don't buy never Moto with MediaTek because the phone with Qualcomm received new version of Android faster
G84 received Android 14 Qualcomm 695
G53 received have Qualcomm 480+
Only with MediaTek received in April with Dimensity 930 G73 received A14
and have 1.93 GB

I had this phone for a month and I want to give you my experience:
The design of the phone and its light weight are excellent
The screen is excellent in its range
The speakers are excellent
The speed of the UI is excellent
The amount of RAM and internal memory and its speed (UFS 3.1) is excellent
The charging speed + 68W charger inside the box are excellent
The quality of the camera is good and satisfactory;
The negative points for which I sold it: bad battery on 144Hz refresh rate and heavy data usage, lack of memory card slot, the quality of the device's frame and its buttons were not satisfactory.
I just bought a Samsung A54, it also has a heating problem, so it's not just the Moto.
About the screen protector, believe me that Gorilla Glass 3 is better than Gorilla Glass 5! During the one month that I used the Moto Edge 40 Neo, no scratches were formed on the screen, but on the A54 screen three small lines were formed in the first week!
App crashes and lags are common on Samsung phones, I miss Motorola.
