There are 2-3 apps that have ads, like Security, Mi Video and one more. You have options inside those apps to disable the ads and you never see them again. The Themes app occasionally sends you notifications about cool new themes you can install, just disable notifications and you never see those again either.
All your options to disable all ads are there. The fact that you don't know about it, only shows everyone here how uneducated you are.
MIUI is not a bad or bloated ROM, it's as good as the rest, it even has some cool built-in features that others don't and need to install apps in order to get.
GCam takes better pictures than the deafult one, it's true, I've tested it. But if you don't take pictures, it doesn't matter which one you have.
Even if you have a Samsung or Google phone, you can always make it better by adding other apps or ROMs, that's not the point.

I'm tryna be helpful here. However do not, in any circumstances. delete the SETTINGS. Settings is a very important part of the phone, and also required to install a custom ROM. (via unlocking the bootloader.) I bet you would uninstall it immediately because you're [fruitbox] and haven't done any research, so the next time you get a phone. PLEASE. do your research, Dumbo-Elephant.

How Do I Fix Screen Flickering Issue on this Device? I've already updated to 3 different miui 14 patches, yet the issue is still here. Most of thet time it's not Flickering tho, just sometimes.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2024Is anyone got issue on this phone,like the edge of the scre... moreI think everyone has this, it's not so bad. I've found that using Yandex Keyboard is better when you have to press buttons like: 1, 0, q or p, which are on the very edge.
I have this phone for almost 2 years now and despite all the issues that seems like everyone with this phone has, it has been the best and fastest phone I ever had.
I will stick with it until it stops getting MIUI updates and see if it will get HyperOS or not and then maybe keep using it a little more and then get a newer Xiaomi, like K60 or K70.

I suggest you enter Factory Reset mode by using the volume and power keys and do a full memory wipe and start over from scratch. Other than that, I have no clue, the phone works well for me and I'm happy almost 2 years later.

Hi,
I bought new Redmi 10C in August 2022. Now my Photo is dead. No Changing and Screen is blank and Black not completely Off.

To anyone who's unsatisfied with the camera performance, I highly recommend that you install GCam.
First thing first, the main camera on this phone is a Samsung ISOCELL JN1 which, for comparison, is actually slightly larger (20.5 sq-mm) than the one found on iPhone X (~17.8 sq-mm).
The only real problem is that Xiaomi didn't spend much time on the camera app and so it takes very poor photos.
To give Xiaomi the benefit of the doubt, I think it's likely because JN1 was a brand-new sensor when this phone was released and, I suppose, Xiaomi didn't have the time to really tune-in and optimize the camera app.
In any case, I'm using BSG's GCam v8.7.250 which comes with a config file designed specifically for Redmi 10C (Codename: Fog) and it's working brilliantly.
Here's a quick comparison between GCam (standard HDR+) vs. Xiaomi Stock Camera (HDR manually enabled):
