Xiaomi Redmi 1S on sale in India on September 2

Xiaomi is finally launching the Redmi 1S in collaboration with Flipkart. The device is going to come to users on September 2 and you can register to buy the device will open today on Flipkart.

The price of INR 5,999 (around $99) is lower than what Xiaomi first made official (INR 6,999).

The device has a 4.7" 720p screen, Snapdragon 400 CPU with 1GB of RAM, 8MP snapper, microSD card slot and MIUI v5 on top of Android 4.3.
