I only think about my phone's performance, and it seems that HyperOS is gonna do nothing but slow my phone even further. And since this unit is kinda outdated, I don't think that OS will be compatible to my phone.
Yea I'm not gonna upgrade my phone lol

cons:
1- it will slow your phone
2- ADS will be every where and you can't turned them off like miui14
3- incompatibility issues with some apps
pross:
only new lock screen clock styles and some new wallpapers and fonts
take a note that lots of themes are not compatible with hyperos

Have had this phone for two years and has been very reliable. Inexpensive with lots of features. The battery life is starting to wear down after two years. Used to last at least two days without a charge but no charging daily. Just wondering if I'm still getting updates as the last one was Dec 2023?

I suspect Harmony OS might have an issue with the default launcher. I tried Niagara Launcher and noticed a significant performance improvement on my phone.

Once update to HYPER OS mean ready to throw alway yrs phone, trust me..it turn slow, lot of advertisements,Tube turn screen dark, need boost speed again frequently

after updating to hyperOS,, now ADs every where in Xiaomi aps like files, security,etc...and with no option to turn them off like i did in miui14
also the phone is slower than before as the update came with Android 13 and still a cupping same storage like the old miui 14
