hi am ernest from ghana and i have been using skate for the past 9 months i really love the phone. but just yesterday i switch it of and when i turnd it on it will not boot it just display the andriod and will never boot. please what do i do

If your mic is not working,temporarily you can use the headphone that comes with the mic and plug in into your 3.5mm jack.Hope this works.

i've been having a zte skate for almost a year and a half now, and so far i had no problem with it. i'm a really-really heavy user, i'm always on my phone, and despite some comments saying the battery life isn't the best, i agree, it could be better, but compared to my 24/7 usage it last all day and don't forget that the screen is BIG. the only con i can think of is that i have only a few apps, even the ones i have are on my sd card and the phone memory is often low, in my opinion they could've put more memory into the phone.. the music player is good, the fm radio is a bit of poor quality, u can't really do anything with it..texting is easy as the screen is large, it has beautiful colours and great resolution, i most definitely recommend this phone for everyone. also, i used to have an iphone 3g and all i can say is, this phone is so much better.. i hope this was useful for everyone in confusion and before decision of buying it or not:) have a nice day!

My fone is a ZTE Skate. I have trouble trying to get a replacement mic for my fone which seems to have sweat or something on it. The problem is i can the other person clearly but they have difficulty hearing me and they dont have 'mic'for our fone here.
Any suggestions where can i get this?

there is a problem with the sensor on the top of the cell phone near speaker i think it is covered with dust or some thing thats y when u make a call it goes on blank display..i found a similar problem with my skate.

i am using skate and satisfied user and now a days i am facing a unique problem. when i make a call its display is gone and i could not see any option or could not operate any operation. anybody have a solution of this problem?

I bought this phone 6 months ago and didn't have any problems with it. Right now I'm running a CM10.1 ROM (JB 4.2.1) and it's running smooth other then a normal camera flash problem. Problem with a low internal memory can be solved with link2sd very effective.
For that amount of money it's a very decent device.

It a wonderfull phone I bought one since 1 year , very nice phone , smooth , I'de no problemes with it
I could upgrade it to ICS 4.0.4 and JB 4.1.2 and CM10.1 4.2.1 :D

I have a ZTE skate, I like it
but I after around 3 months I had problem.
with the microphone,it not working. I now use the phone with the hands free and there is not problem. I want to give it for repair. How can I transfer my SMS to the computer.

I have ZTE skate.Its a great phone, everything works as it should. had trouble with low battery life but discovered it was due to the display picture i was using. could do with a bigger battery but other than that it is great.
