Mine is brand new out of the box and I love my revvl6,to reset or shut off completely,it helps to reset the phone,on main screen,pull down, you should get a black screen and at the very bottom you should see a ⚙️ and a open circle next to it,tap the ...

I totally agree it takes a lot of effort and mental health lol to shut off the phone. It also takes many hours for the cell to charge to 100% lol omg.
