Will not hold its charge any ideas. One site tells me battery is non removable, another site shows you how to remove it. Where can you purchase the correct battery

I have an Acer iconia with Android 4.4.2 working perfectly. Don't know what your talking about and an iPad mini is 2x the price of the Acer iconia. But it isn't their best tablet, I agree.

After2014,and new 2015 update, freezing and lost WiFi passwords every time when turn off, sometime lost even only sleep, after that must restart tablet, five times to work..... Shame, I have tablet since Jun 2014, and it's unusable after avgust 2014. update. Acer where are you? Before updates was great.

Great tablet! Didnt have a problem with the camera after the KitKat update. And has great performance for normal gaming(games like Minecraft pe works great) and browsing the web. Great buy!

Is a good tablet, for browsing, video calls, but the gps is horrible in 4.2.2. I try to repair de gps file with root access apps,and theres no good results. If you have a link to update manualy to kitkat or lollipop send it to my TW @javitek

does upgrading the acer iconia .. can cost battery life shorter ?? Because my tablet eas easy to drain lately.. i used to upgrade it and then its easy to drain it battery usage..?? can some please help me??

I did the update and now the camera is working really slow or sometimes it doesn't work at all.

Is it really ok to upgrade? have read the previous comments that there are some issues in upgrading to 4.4...i just want to make sure i will never regret before doin it...any advice please...thank you advance and God bless :)

The aver iconia a1-830 graphics are poor (atleast banchmarks show) My $150 Motorola luge came ate ate 50 while this came at a mesely 5

Also, the tablet's specifications are not a mystery until the buyer decides to purchase the tablet, they were readily available on the internet. It looks like you did not look up the specs before purchasing.
The tablet does not support SIM card so no 3G/4G connectivity. Only WiFi.
So if you have a WiFi connection or are in a place that has one, simply turning it on and installing an app like Skype or Viber will do the trick.
I'd recommend Skype as it is a more familiar app that probably anyone has by now.
