Hey all, got this phone yesterday as a gift. The truth, looks are great and operating system are top notch, but the quality and built are a let down. When closely looked at the phone, it felt like a cheap phone. overall on this phone, I'd give it a 6/10 due to the bad finish.

The 3GS has 512 mb RAM, plus it's iOS, there's no proper multi-tasking, what it does is referred to as tomb-stoning in WP7, it saves the app state and switches it off, keeping it in the ram, why do you think not all apps support the multitasking? It's because tomb-stoning requires an extra bit of code. It's not exactly like WP7 but the idea is the same.
I'm no apple hater, I've the iPhone 4, but research before saying stuff like that.
