Is it actually out? I would like to pair it with an acer laptop, but actually I see little in terms of real integration. Sharing data via USB cable ... for practical purposes. DNLA is hard to set up.

People said Acer is not good company.. Will go stale soon..But all their words went wrong..Its working so so fine.. Not a single problem yet. Really good company. They dont spend much money in Advertisement.Becoz of this they are able to sell their products in a lesser price.

Ted, 25 Nov 2010not bad.... only drawback is the snapdragon processor and t... moreacer pc's i think are better than most if you're a mainstream user. my acer netbook has been with me for the longest time (i've used other brands like dell, samsung, lenovo). but if you think the looks are most important, then i think you should stick to fashion.

Patience is a virtue.
I am also waiting on this smartphone, but again I rather wait for something that is amazing, than hurry to get something that isn't. And if there is something that comes along that I like better than so be it.
IceCreamSandwich is around the corner with the new standards and features. Guess what, you are not the only one waiting.

Ordered one back in April, the estimate for Acer to deliver the phone to supplier and them to me being 15 days. This changed to 45 days. One day prior to the supposed delivery the estimate changed again to 21 more days. Within two days the estimate had changed to 31 days remaining... It'l probably be next year I get the device, if ever... Please Acer, this is not the way to go, just like SE... Just how fool do you think the customers are? Reliability means a lot to many a customer. Go on like this, announcing a phone to be released at a certain time & then failing to deliver, you'll make it sure that you put potential customers to shy away from you in the future. Meanwhile companies like Samsung do exactly what they've said & promised. I wonder just how many new versions of the Galaxy I'll see before getting the Iconia smart - if that ever happens, that is...

What’s Hot:
Large, 4.8-inch capacitive touchscreen
Large screen makes it a natural for watching movies
Good performance, ok battery life
What’s Not:
Large screen makes it a challenge for people with dainty hands to use
Sound could be better
Bottomline:
The Acer Iconia Smart is certainly different, and if you don’t have issues with a large screen, it just might be your next Android smartphone.

Get Experia Arc... morethe perfect size 5 inch
this 4.8 is almost perfect and also have all thouse features you whould like to has.

Why only 8GB of internal memory?? It would be already mine, only if it had 32GB. Other than that it looks it's a superb device
