I read a lot about liquid before I lay my hand on the real thing. A week ago I finally got one. In Singapore Liquid e is not available yet. Btw I got the very last set that day. Looks like it's a HOT selling phone.
I actually would like the white model for a change, all my past phones are dark coloured mostly. However, its the last set I had no choice.
However, I have not regret a single bit.
- The phone feel solid, even its plastic all over.
- Finishing is gorgeous, just place beside an iphone you will know what i mean.
- The best of all is the screen. Bright, clear, sharp & high contrast, even the smallest font/text is legible.
- If you play the right format, video playback is superb, because of the excellence screen.
Whatever inside "donut" is the same. Just that, snapdragon + 480X800pixels, is almost Nexus 1 hardware in a Acer shell, eliminate worry that liquid would obsolete in a year's time.
Now I wish upgrade to Eclair is available soon.

I just ordered this phone off ebay after a lot of research. There is rumor that Acer will release an official 2.1 update in April. Search for 'acer liquid rom' and you'll see some people who have modified versions of 2.1 Eclair running on the Liquid A1 already. Eclair is like the windows 7 of Android, doesn't mean most apps will move to it soon, if anything most will still support Android 1.5 & 1.6 for some time. It is one of the best spec'd android phones for the relatively low price.

Dahm, just got this phone from Carphone Warehouse. Possibly the best touch screen phone around, even though it is my first touch screen but for business and pleasure around diamond! got this phone for £25pm for 24 months how cool is that ehhh?

It says it comes with Youtube app but I don't have it.. and it doesn't exist on android market also..
Does it have RTSP streaming support..

Hello From me.
I have the acer liquid about 6 days.
I like it very much.
all my friends ask me about it.the screen is very sharp with a lot of brightnes.
I have the stock 1.6 android on it.
you have a lot of customization that you can make.
i have everything i need in three screens.
if you have an internet connection this phone makes everything really fast.
as of the battery it lasts 1+ days and i play a lot these days!!!
