I am asking this question because currently I have a 3G Sim Card for calls and it is on a mobile phone and another 3G Sim Card for data which is currently used on a tablet. I am intending of using both sim cards simultaneously on the Acer E700, in order to have one device with me with both data active on one sim card and other active for calls.

I've been using since Sept-2014, its 3G (HSDPA) on all the SIMs, only one can be activated at one time, switching sim takes 10 seconds.
Its very powerful phone, I like the battery.

Display Clarity is awesome.(Clear HD Display)
Good Battery Life.Charge dropping rate is approx 10% to 15% per hour(Checked by using 3g net,Games & HD Videos.
Camera picture & Video clarity is also good compare with other 8mp camera picture quality.

joey morales, 12 Jan 2015hey raggy listen to me,, if you dont have the phone dont sp... moreYea, but i also have my eye on the Acer Liquid Z500,IT HAS THE SAME SPECIFICATIONS AS THIS PHONE, and IT HAS Gorrila glass 3,and specs like touch focus,face recognition and hdmr which this phone doesn't have, but it has a 2000 mah battery,compared to the 3500mah in this,and everyone's saying THAT the battery drains very quickly, errg,why does Acer have to be such a piece a s*****?
I'm kinda waiting to see if they'll release one,THAT has the same specs like thE z500, BUT WITH A MORE POWERFUL REMOVABLE BATTERY, LIKE THE ONE IN THIS,BUT THEN AGAIN, THAT MIGHT COST ALOT MORE $$$$$.

Hi Friends.
I bought this phone yesterday. I was in confuse which mobile to buy among Lumia 730 ,Moto G & Acer E700. Bt after reading the comments i like to take a chance to buy this phone.
About Phone.
Display,Touch Response,System Speed,Graphics,Battery,Features,Phone Weight - Awesome
Camera,Video Recording,Loud Speaker & Ear piece volume - Good.
2 flashes working good.
Picture Quality is good if u see in ur PC.
No dedicated camera button & bottom Light.
Conclusion.
Value for money. U can try in model instead of other brands.

The device is not that bad... the picture quality of the camera is average, the performance is good... i experience some hiccups but somehow acceptable, loud speaker is well... loud. but its kinda sound more of mono than stereo... but using the provided headset enhances the sound experience. touchscreen is kinda responsive but sometimes tapping once will register a double tap which is quite annoying when you are typing in a hurry... hoping for ACER to update the touch driver... overall, i am kinda satisfy with this device... Thanks.

I bought the Acer liquid E700 two weeks ago and have been using it daily since then. Overall a fantastic experience. When I received it (I ordered it online) I was immediately shocked at the size which is a beautifully big 5 inch screen, yet small enough to fit in most pockets and handbags. I also was surprised at the camera quality as I had read some bad reviews about it. The photographs are crisp and clear with excellent details which respond well to filters. I have also downloaded quite a few applications and high graphic games and there have been no problems with speed so far. The sound is pretty good and it easily connects to wireless networks.
I watched a review where a phone case was included but with my purchase it was not. Comes with earphone however.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a high end phone at a fantastic price.
I also found out why it is called a liquid touch (don't put it in water) as the touch screen is wonderfully smooth. Best of luck

Raggy, 10 Jan 2015Stop spreading false info, that's the reason why I'm not al... morehey raggy listen to me,, if you dont have the phone dont speak too confident OKAY!!!! coz ur the one who's looking idiot,, i have this phone and using in for a month already,, YES the battery is NON REMOVABLE and the capacitive BUTTONS DOESNT have ILLUMINATION,,, but the phone is AWESOME and really past CAMERAS are good and its really great for the PRICE.. so i suggest YOU should BUY one...

Great phone, fast interface, good battery life, HD, brilliant sound quality. Wish the camera quality would be a little better
