How do I get rid of this constant problem of the SD card and SIM card removing themselves and reinstalling? It causes me to want to drop Acer phones altogether. It's a Jade S55.

I bought the s55 about a year ago, after 1 day I took it back to the store where I bought it. I had dead pixels at the top of the screen and my sd card slot didn't work. Got it back after 2 or 3 weeks. They said they made the screen and hardware. But after a week everything started again. Dead pixels and the constant messages of my sdcard being removed and "installed" again. That last one now more than ever and it's driving me crazy! The s55 must me the rubbish phone I ever got! Don't buy it!

Hi, Please can someone help me I have Acer S55. The touch panel is cracked. Since June o am going up and down to find the touch panel but no luck. I even phoned Acer in Midrand Johannesburg they couldn't help me.
Any one who knows were I can get my phone fixed?

Well, I have this phone for around 1 year, I must admit that first few months I loved it, but now there are few problems.
First of all, my sim card is disconnecting quite often, which is really annoying.
Second, my camera is basically ruined. One day after I had a phone call for around 1h the back of the phone got quite warm and the little glass shield just fell of :|
And last but not least, expectancy of phones battery life has shrunk like crazy. If at first I could've used it for around 2 to 3 days, than now I have to charge it every night (If I use power saving mode) and if I use internet, than it works for around 6 hours (even if the internet is only turned on, but the phone is not being used).

Screen problem with an otherwise good product. What looks like pixel burnout (very bright pixel clusters) formed near top edge of phone about six months after purchase. Phone was replaced by official country office (CZ) but replacement phone also very soon exhibited identical problem. A shame, as it is in some ways a pretty nifty bit of kit. I have hung on to mine for two years and although I'll probably upgrade soon, I would equally happily hold on to this for another year.

Kareem, 14 May 2016Is this phone 4g compatible? I can't seem to get mine to sw... moreThere are two types of Acer Liquid Jade. Acer Liquid Jade S Plus and Acer Liquid Jade S55. I don't know of other ones but the S55 is not 4G LTE and only has 1GB ram and 8GB internal Storage where as the Jade S Plus has 2GB and 4GLTE i presume.
