Mine gets hot mostly on top where the camera is and a little on the back. I wouldn't be concerned about this unless your back camera starts acting up like starts to blur or gets too grainy. The max temperature I've detected is almost 40 Celsius and when I am not using it, (when it is idle and cool) the temperature is 26 Celsius. it makes sense since the phone is really thin, if your laptop didn't have a fan or any holes for air vent then it would get extremely hot too. however, IF you stated that back is getting hot, and if that's the entire back cover? then return it before your battery explodes or leaks because that is not normal.

RG, 16 May 2016My hp also cannot reading sim.. it's really disappointed ho... moreyou need a nano sim inserted at the end of the sim and memory card holder, it will not read if you cut the sim wrong, look up an image of your sim card in a nano size and cut it precisely then insert it into the end of the holder or the front. I use my giffgaff simcard which was originally micro then chopped it to nano and did it wrong so looked up an image with the contacts showing and chopped it with that end almost chamfered. If you don't understand me then take it to your local phone shop and they should do it for you.

Everything is working okay now after Factory data reset. I had issues opening up applications, overheating, and phone kept turning OFF and ON.

devsahb, 04 Dec 2015yes, i hope its not possible to open the back cover of mobi... moreI do not think the back cover can be opened. Looks like this model is similar to apple devices - it has a non-removable battery hence the back cover is not removable and the sim slot is on the side.

I just got mine and I haven't put a sim in it yet. I am using it for wifi connection though and have noticed that the back gets hot to the touch when I've been using it for a certain period of time (my other phone does not). What about you?

Stra... morei've had the problem with the sim until i found out that you can't put in a sim that was cut you have to get the nano sim... the unit does not accept sim that was cut... do you have overheating problem? this one seems to be the problem with mine

I have the same problem, when switching on my Acer Liquid Jade phone, I get the message "no SIM card detected". I have to try it many times, then I succeed finally to login to the network, but then after about 30...50 seconds I drop out, and again "no SIM card" appears. It's really bad...

yes, i hope its not possible to open the back cover of mobile. Please suggest me if it is possible. I brought a flip cover for the mobile now it is useless.

Admin, Can the acer liquid jade battery be remove or change? Or is it stuck to the phone? Why so hard to open back cover or not suppose to be open at all?
