I did ask this question on their facebook page and Acer UK confirmed an end of October release for the UK and Europe but strangely their has been no specific announcement yet.

It is coming out very soon for sure. Acer just has incredibly bad marketing strategy which is absolutely mind-boggling given that this is probably their first device which can compete successfully with the big players on the smartphone market... Mid-November and in some places even earlier you will be able to get it in their online store.

I have see a reply by acer staff in HK forum recently. He said that there would be announcement in November 2013.

I think this is a future phone/prototype because I didnt find any info abojt this phone on acer's website... when acer is not putting any detail about this phone on their website, how come media is telling its own perception that it will release at the end of october?... sounds like media is creating own assumptions without having proper information

I sent Acer and email asking about release, no response. I asked on Acer forum, no answer!
No word on the official webpage of Acer.
Wtf is wrong with Acer?

When they gonna release it? IFA states end of october... which is already near and all website seems complete silent, even Acer's own website... seems like Acer forget that they introduced a phone in IFA berlin... I hope they will price it rightly, probably lower than its main rival Note 3...

I'm only affraid about LCD type and brightness these things were allways off-quality.
