Recently purchased this phone, and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Great screen, good battery life and extremely good value for money.
This is a bargain smartphone, buy it with confidence..

No.. Flashing to UK ROM not fix the home key jammed/bug problem..
You must go to Acer Costumer Service Center for replacing your buggy z110 to a new one..

I've the home-key bug too with ROM version

@bravoq: Will the Rom that can be downloaded solve the home-key bug? The ROM that can be downloaded is version Acer_AV023_Z110_1.002.00_EMEA_GB.
How can I install this on my phone?

I have also the home jammed problem. Even after formattin' the phone 'as acer online service said' the problem continue. It is really annoyin'. Btw, I have a French version.
I hope that ACER will act and do smt. or call for return of the item because of problems. Cause it seems like many people has affacted with it so this is clearly comin' from a problem related to ACER not to the user.

I hate the home key bug....all we we have to do is just wait....Also i flashed the Kill Tim ROM but it doenst solve the problem...

Sorry for the earlier comment on the recent apps problem. Installing screen filter only seems to delay the recent apps pop ups, but does not fix it. Also rooting the phone and installing a custom rom (I installed the Kill Tim rom) does not solve the problem. My touchscreen has already been replaced by acer and also this did not solve the problem. I guess the only option would be to disable the long press function of the home key. But to date I have found no app or solution capable to do so.

to use your ringtones. create folder in memory card and name it media. in the media folder create new folder and name it audio. in audio folder create 2 new folder and name it notifications and ringtones. the folder path should be like this. SDcard> media> audio> notifications/ringtones.
and move you ringtones to the folder that i mention above. notifications for messaging audio/whatsapp etc and ringtones ... we all knew it right

I've already asked at acer what to do in this case and if there exist a firmware update, but the only thing they answered was that I had to reset my acer Z110 to manufactury settings. But that didn't solved the problem at all!

1. My Z110 also locks on "recent apps". I installed Screen Filter but it doesn't change anything at all ...
I wonder if disabling "recent apps" shortcut (on Home button) can fix this problem, but I don't know how to do this ...
2. I use Winamp to add ringtones from my music (mp3 etc ..)

For those experiencing the "recent apps" problem, install the app "screen filter" (which can be downloaded in the google play store) and disable the soft-key backlight. This solved the recent apps problem for me.
