Terribly slow phone, large screen but cannot say the same for the resolution. Phone freezes regularly, and cannot be reset-must wait for the phone to die to restart. Camera quality is poor at best, front facing camera has no light sensitivity, bring a flashlight with you to take daytime selfies. Lock screen is unintuitive and phone likes to unlock itself for no reason.
Do i have anything nice to say about this phone?
well, it makes a mediocre paperweight / doorstop
looking to buy this phone?
save your money and use a payphone instead of this rubbish.

I bought the Acer Liquid Z5 in December 2014. I loved the for phone the problem is the screen cracked and the store where I bought the told me they can't help me. There is nothing wrong with the phone except the cracked screen and I have looked everywhere for it with no luck

I am very very disappointed at staples for selling my granddaughter one of these acer phones,,she is only 13 ,she was at the arena and someone bumped into my granddaughter her phone went flying and smashed the screen,,she bought this in December and so proud ,,well I guess staples should not of sold 13 year old a phone ,,and didn't mention accdential warranty,,now she is out 174 dollars,,,what has this world come to very disappointed with staples and the phone

This is a crap bad phone I am sorry to say. firstly I was disappointing by the weak physical body of the phone, I was told that the battery is built in,but within no time the back of the phone opened, when I took it back to the store they told me of a physical damage, physical damage my EYE! without the phone falling!!!! i bought the phone with 2200 all they could tell me was "its a physical damage" the store manager of MAT & MAY in East London Hemmingways acted as if she designed the phone herself... Acer please continue with laptops and leave cellphones they are not for you.... leave it to the pros..... So Disappointing

I have just bought this model 2 days ago when suddenly it went lock itself requesting privacy lock. Later brought this phone back to shop and took ome half month to come back. However, I can't remember where I kept the batery and its cover cause with was giben to me when I first sent it to shop for unlocking the privacy lock. Now I am looking for the batery and casing and was informed not available. How dissappointed.

the phnoe hangs a lot of even after restart, its still the same and I brought the phone less than 5 day. I will never buy acer phone again

my phone had a sound problem in two weeks of purchase, I took it back to the store and it was sent to Acer in Cape Town. In one week my phone was back, fixed- free of charge, maybe you should all do the same.. use your two year warranty

I was always a fan of ACER products (myself being in IT), but this handset is the worst handset ever built. VERY slow, not a lot of features, bad design (for example why does the camera edge stand out because now it scratches easily; the back body itself scratches easily), POOR camera. The only good thing is the battery life is okay. Other than that, this is absolutely garbage! ACER, don't make phones, just make PC's...okay? I am so disappointed in this phone, i actually just wanna throw it away and not sell it because i feel ashamed of it!

Battery last long, Camera is very good. Can play fifa. Overall this smartphone is very good.

Im using this phone for about 6 months and its still working fine. I got this from a postpaid plan. Im satisfied with the performance of this gadget, specially the battery performance and the camera. Why do you have to throw away a month old phone if you can go to the service center to get it fixed? Just asking.

does acer ppl even bother to read these negative comments and try to at least do something about it.. mine is one week old and it has lost sound already. it only vibrates, can even play music

I'll never ever buy Acer. After 2 weeks from date of bought the phone is not switching on & I have to through it away. It doesn't work anyway. friends , never buy Acer products

Very disapointed.My phone is not even 2 months old and it doesnt want to switch on.The volume was soft and the signal very weak.Will never ever purchase an acer again.
