Acer reveals the names of its upcoming smartphones in India

Acer is preparing to launch three new smartphones in India on April 15 and already teased some bits of one of them. One of the handsets will have a 64MP Sony sensor, an ultrawide camera and a macro shooter.

Now Acer confirms two names - Acer Super ZX and ZX Pro. Both will debut on April 15 in India at 12:00 PM local time.

The two devices are said to be budget 5G-enabled phones with good low-light photography capabilities and AI-powered features.

An important detail is that local company Indikal Technologies designs, manufactures, and distributes the phones, so they have little to do with the Taiwanese maker besides sharing the brand. The same company also makes Acer TVs in India.
