I loved this phone. Until on two different units I had the same issue. It was $159 when I bought my first one.
Restart the phone, and it never comes back on. The first time I had to replace one, I dropped it, my failt no big deal. The second time, I restarted the phone and it never came back on, I accepted that I was three days without a method of communication. Now less than a month later, same issue again. Turned off the phone, charged, restarted, phone went through normal shut down, won't come back to life....
I get that they are cheaper phones, but it's BS that the best they can do for help is "Take it back to where you bought it, and they should replace it, or our repair shop will only take two - three weeks to attempt to fix it."

Anyone know how to change the default tones in the text notifications. I want my own personal sound there not a preselected one?

It has shut off 2 times in the two days I've had it!this is crazy and should not be an acceptable behavior of a brand-new phone however much u pay. This thing will be going back tomorrow and the better give me every penny back. The first time it shut off the service rep took it to the back and 15 mins later it came on.. he said if I return it I will have to pay a restocking fee of $50 and I will not be refunded my $60 that I payed for service! What a crock! T-Mobile is terrible with customer service and satisfaction. Im switching back to virgin mobile tomorrow.

Two weeks after getting this phone the bottom left hand corner of this touchscreen is not working which means no texting web browsing even dialing out a number.phone has a case no scratches on screen.kind of rediculus..

I purchased one of the Alcatel One Touch Fierce phones about three months ago. I've had trouble with it turning on and the touch screen responding really slow. Now my phone screen is frozen and flashing off and on. It won't respond or turn off. Does anyone know how to fix this? I regret buying this cheap phone but want to try to make it last at least a little while longer.

I just got this phone as a replacement for the nokia 521 with t mobile. So far no problems at all. All those with problems of droping calls ect, check your provider, I havent got one single drop call, or anything. I did however notice this morning that the tiem was way off and I had no contacts, like the phone was reset, but a quick turn of and back on and all my info mwas there again. for 90 dollars you cant expect galaxy 4 or iphone quality come on people.

hey guys im a repair tech and I work with phones all the time. I got this phone about two months ago and to be honest for the price this thing is a steel. all I see on here is people complaining im lost ive had a few problems like screen acting up but that's easy to fix just put your finger over the infrared sensor at the top its located to the right of the camera and just hit the power button to get the screen back on. yes this phone does have some cheep feature's the screen isn't the best and the camera but again this phone was only $70. but this phone is built around one thing and that's it the quad core processor. this is where you get your money's worth for sure. so this phone I give a solid 7 when you look at it. definitely do recommend to restart phone or turn off for one minute a day for the ram to refresh and do its thing remember it is a $70 phone.
