At first, i used aeroplane mode to charge. If i want to see a significant charging percentage up, i need to switch off the phone and charge.

The charging led is light up, the charging port is hot but the battery percentage remains the same. I don't know if we buy a new battery and change it ourself, it'll help?

This is a great phone. The people who have issues with this device are just unlucky. Hey even iphone and samsung smart phones break. Not just this device. I purchased this phone almost 2 years ago and still runs great. The only issue i have is alcatel apps. They are just ridiculous. Just filled with ads. So, i stop updating stock apps such as file manager, stock launcher and so on.

I've been using Alcatel Flash Plus 2 for almost a year. I had an issue when I charge it up. It showing 36% battery, I leave it for 5 minutes and it still 36%. Anyone knows how to deal with this? Pls help, thx.

FPL User, 25 Oct 2017I've been using this phone for a year and a half now. No ph... moreNot sure why you have camera problems. I use mine all the time and the results are sharp and clear. It is good on low light too. I use the stock editor too which works well. They are good enough to print large photos so that's a good test.
I had a professional set of photos for my house sale which were awful. Took some with my Flash Plus 2 and they were so much better and the agent put them on Rightmove looking fantastic.
I know this sounds silly but have you taken the protective cover off the lense? If you have it may need a clean as it can leave a residue.
I do hope this helps. If not you may need to return it under guarantee.

ho to repair the alcatel flash plus 2 . nag system updated lang siya then hihinto then mag off then sysytem update then again and again. it will not go to home.

I've been using this phone for a year and a half now. No physical problem so far , I mean, the displays still responsive and okay. The battery is still well. Screen time of fully charged device could last me up to 5 hours of intermittent mixed usage throughout the day. The only hiccup I could think with this phone is it's feature less yet slow camera. The camera take borderline satisfactory pictures even on daylight. I (non heavy user) have no problem with the software since mine came with stock Android and almost no bloatware at all. The best part of my experience is it's durability. I had dropped this phone countless times even as high as 7 ft on screen and only got scuffed on the side as it bounced after. I've never used any kind of protection like screen protector or case and it never gave me any problem. One thing too is I'm a bit melancholic about the company's closure since we no longer receive any update or security patches. With that, I'm planning to upgrade my phone once it hits 2 yrs old. But overall all I reckon that my 140 usd was all worth it.

I saw one article pertaining the loss of the Flash website and it was stated that Alcatel was too focused on the Motorola brand that they forgot about Flash. Flash is a sub-brand of Alcatel, they pulled out from Alcatel and afterwards idk what happened after that. I have this phone and its still working fine, got few OTA updates since Flash was still active and now im stuck with a phone with no aftersales to look up into.
