Still using this phone as a backup
pros: screen is very bright and reverse mode is fun to use. Speakers are good-not the best but good. Software is good I like it. Great audio from 3.5mm jack.
Cons: build quality-plastic, screen is plastic. Camera is poor but video 1080p is ok. 2gb of ram-phone started to lag even if a lot of memory is free. I didn't received any updates to android 6. Battery life was ok 1day and half, but now battery is just poor due to degradation. And volume up key stopped working and that is it. Everything still works

This was a good device for about a year then they sent out a bunch of updates and made it useless. Kept freezing up and shutting off. Everything would mess up so bad. Too bad I really liked the phone too. 2GB ram for a cheap phone. Loud front firing speakers.

I have this phone for 1 year now. Super slow, battery is practically dead, not lasting more than 3h. Some times it hangs or dies unexpectedly. I is a paper height now. Alcatel never more. :(

I owned that phone for a year.. In that year it became unbelievably slow and laggy, and would die after few hours of usage. I got phone replacement after that year passed and the phone was still trash.. Still laggy, would die after few hours and just unbelievably bad.. It went through many replacements and even now when I have replaced the phone 2 times it still has the same issues and it still doesn't work properly.. Also it overheats like crazy in, or out the case. The phone is crazy bad in my opinion.. And even when it just came out it wasn't worth the price..

Mine is the radio.anytime the lock pad gets locked and the screen goes to sleep,the radio too goes off at the same time when listening to radio.till I wake up the screen then the radio start working. What would have been the cause?

Well I have one , and It was working without a problem.. I DROPPED IT... the screen crashed and so I got a new one but it was not the original one, and after that.. it now sucks... but I used to be in love with my Idol 3 5.5... My fault anyway. It is a great Phone! Underrated

Update 6.0.1 (then hard reset) make the phone became better than the new one. Is still a very competitive product, not to say the best for its price now after the price drop .

There seem to be more positives than negative with this phone. But the only negative seem to be its poor build quality and the lateness of updates. Is this true?

Bought this phone May 2016 late 2017 the phone all the time gets jammed, speaker not working properly etc. Had it checked to company service centre only to be told twice that the problem is in the mother board. 2 yrs old regular use and didn't drop or wet or heat yet it malfunctioned. EVERYONE BE WARNED.
Maybe phone is cheap and appealing with its looks and so called features but I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND it to anyone... they need to develop further their system and quality of product or else this is a waste of money and time.
Just my 2 cents.

Great Phone but I did drop the phone on it top left corner resulting in the front camera screen shattering so now I have to get it fixed

I need a housing for this awesome phone. Mine had a severe fall, damaging the entire body and screen. I have been able to replace the screen but it's being difficult to get a housing (case). Any help in getting one will be much appreciated cos I love this phone and can't leave it.

I loved the phone but went through 3 in less than 6 months. The screen cracked on all 3 phones. The first time was inside protective case. The company would have a great phone if they invest in a tougher screen. The screen makes it not worth purchasing.

I am using this phone for 2 years. No big problems, just one time this phone stuck on rebot loop, i had to wipe all my files to restore phone. I didn't get official android 6 in europe. This phone has shity micro usb port. It always disconects external flash drives or some cabels that are brand new. Phone is made of plastic but i got a case and screen protector. I love this phone. Form factor and design, speakers and android clean rom is great.
