Although the weak cpu, xda has plenty of roms to tweak so I am fine and still keeping this phone for 2nd year. Going to replace the case though. It has the best display and speakers!

for almost 2 years it was great phone without problems ...1 month ago and a half the camera started not to work and now the microphone and the speakers so i cant listen or speak to anyone and i had a reboot one week ago... very bad that there is not upgrade in android 6.0

Using my idol 3 (5.5) during 2 years without any problem. Just one month after the end of warranty, it enter in a bootloop mode. Nothing to do, it's dead. DISAPOINTED.

After 2 years it still works like a charm. Very satisfied for a smartphone, especially with a price tag of €250 (had a discount). In the 2 years I dropped it a few times and only have some scratches at the side of the phone. I was very disappointed using Android 5.0, luckily it's finally upgradable to 6.0.

The 60450 cricket model running stock MM is very smooth and have better battery life. But the bootloader is heavily locked down!

i read somewhere that this alcatel idol 3 (5.5) will get Android 7.0 Nougat update but they didn't mention when... P.S i am currently running Android 6.0 Marshmallow on my alcatel idol 3 (5.5)
