The only problem... And a big one... Has the idol 4....it'a getting hot all the time... Maybe the processor is to forced 'caouse is realy snappy for a snapdragon 617.. Maybe is because is made by glass and plastic.. I don' t know..... But even if u listen music to speakers with screen off, is getting hot... If u're browsing is getting hot... Everthing u do with it, is getting real hot!

I've buyed this phone a week ago, and I highly recommend it, specially for multimedia, its fast and fluid, not like an galaxy s6 or s7 obviously but still high on performance, loving features, I've not been this happy with a phone since my previously owned Xperia Arc S, and I've had a few medium an top end phones since the Arc.
Also I've seen some complains regarding network problems, from which I've not experienced any, I live in portugal, every where I've been phone calls worked like a charm...

I like plastic because is more durable(flexible), then metal and glas(Honor, Idol4). Also Honor has lot of Huawei balast whhich takes memory and battery...

I just got the alcatel - I need a phone that would play music well, and everyone seems to be saying how good this phone was for music. MIne is awful!! Really distorted, I've tried different sound settings and its still the same. It has that horrid rattling noise like when a speaker has blown. Do you think I could just have a faulty phone??

I used my Idol 4 few days for testing (sending back, too much network problems), taked good care of it, and still the screen had scratches. And my old Xperia have none. I wonder, does the Idol have any protection at all or really the Dragontail is so weak?
BTW, normally phone official page contains such (screen protection) information, as this is good selling point. But nothing on Idol 4 page - http://www.alcatel-mobile.com/global...s/detail/IDOL4
So I think, that Idol doesn't have any protection and the way mine did scratch, just proves it.

That JBL speakers are the best in the world!!!waves maxx audio is magic...that mix music player is crazy!!!it mix your tracks like a real dj...automatic!!!
And the screen is beautiful...100% natural...!good job alcatel!
