alcatel Idol 4 exclusively lands at Cricket on August 5 with VR headset

Vlad, 19 July, 2016

The alcatel Idol 4 is finally making it to a US carrier, many months after its February unveiling. Cricket will have the exclusive on this device, which becomes available on August 5.

The phone is priced at $199.99 plus tax, but since Cricket is a prepaid carrier, there are no long-term contracts to sign. What's more, when you buy the Idol 4, you also receive a VR headset bundled in the package - so you can get on the trendy VR train as soon as possible.

The Idol 4 has a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie snapper, the Snapdragon 617 chipset, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 2,610 mAh battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It boasts front-facing stereo speakers with 3.6W output.
