I have an idol3 and have loved it. Was really looking forward to the 4s. But the resolution is too high for the CPU (and will cost in terms of battery life), and the lack of a fingerprint reader mean that I'll have to look elsewhere for an upgrade. Too bad :-(

2) Non removable battery
3) 652 processor
4) No finger scanner
BUT if this is priced below 15,16,17K(rupees) .. this would be a viable option for someone who need a QUD display.

Very nice looking phone. But not for me. It lacks 2 important things I need from a phone now. Ir blaster and finger print screener.
I need those 2 as I use the ir a lot around my home. All my device are controlled from my phone.

Would be perfect if screen were 1080p. 1440p is abusing its GPU a bit too much.

indian govt releases a circular that regional languages support is mandatory in india. i think now alcatel cannot release phones in india. because it dosnt support indian regional languages like hindi telugu etc

Was about to buy Lenovo Vibe X3 and then this was announced. Now i'm confused between these two (Vibe X3 and Idol 4S).Both have stereo speakers. But Idol 4S doesn't have a fingerprint scanner otherwise this would have been perfect imo.They should have added a fingerprint scanner, still awesome phone nonetheless. Suggestions plz...
