Mine seems to discharge rather fast, approx 1 day with a few calls, lots of texts, two or three GPS directions, a few moments of internet. Still trying Ultimate saver mode, though. If you guys could share the trick for prolonging batt life, that'd be great. Otherwise, awesome phone this!!

What version are you on? Another possibility I'm thinking of is the individual settings one uses in the app: there's quite a few of them, each linked to a particular sensor of the phone (proximity, movement, ...). Perhaps one of them sets off the issue. I did play around somewhat with the settings before uninstalling the app, but to no avail.

This phone is wicked I don't know why people are having so many problems mine never crashes has great battery and takes awesome pictures I would recommend this phone too anyone it's fast, cheap, slim and light. Also gravity screen works fine for me.

DO NOT BUY.
I've had mine for just over two months and it just stopped working. Freezing on and off all night. I tried to perform a hard reset out of pure frustration and it just wont turn back on. Horrible, buggy, and now, unresponsive. Even when it was brand new, it would freeze and shut down. Don't buy this horrible phone.

[deleted post]Gravity Screen is an app from Play Store. It is a great app, but is not compatible with the Idol X I found out: I had the problem of self shut down, and in the reviews on Play Store, I read one other person with Idol X had the same problem. I had to uninstall the app, and now the problem has gone.
