It's Mediatek CPU not good enough. Their Octo Cores is same processing speed/power as snapdragon dual Cores. Thats y kitkat not available for it.

I' ve been using mine for 6 months now and I'm very pleased in general, but a couple of times the screen has gone black when I end a call while sound works normaly. I can' t find a comment about this. Has it happened to someone else?

I believe it's some sort of hardware problem as the touchscreen sends signals without being touched. I restored the software with no luck, the initial problem still persists. So I've sent mine to warranty service, it's there for 14 days already, I'm very curious what's their solution. Good luck!
