I a... moreGreat great great news & review my friend!!! really happy that u got a good deal there!! i however just ended up buying the grand..though its the ultmate device but still thinking i should switch over to alcatel..however i do know alcatel phones have a heating problem & accessories are not easily available. thats my only main concern, & yes since sony xperia c is on its way at an almost unbeatable price ( given a 5"inch) i think i might wait a bit longer & c how that turns out first!!! but glad i could assist u :)..wer did u buy it from btw? & which city r u in?

The screen quality is waaaay waaay better than i expected it to be. Its extremely clear and quality display. The phone feels superb to handle and is of great build quality. It is also thinner than it looks in the pictures.
Everything works just fine on the phone 912 mb of user available ram, GPS connects quite fast, even though im not much of a gamer i tried installing real racer and nfs most wanted to check it abilities. It works superb, no lag and the phone has never hung in its week of usage. Surprisingly, fruit ninja does not run smoothly, but i really dont care, i have not tried trouble shooting as i would not want to play it.
I have tried installing various launcher, right now im using next and its just awesome. All the 3d effects work flawlessly.
The network connectivity is brilliant, I get connected even in the remotest places in the building (including in the lift) were no other phone does, except a few old school nokia.
Wifi also connects brilliantly, I get connected were two sony xperias and one HTC does not try to connect.
Currently i am using only single sim i have not tried using two sims at once.
Bettery last 24 hours ona full charge. I have been using wifi a lot and also tried my hands on gaming.
Everyone who has seen the phone has done it for the first time and they just cannot stop admiring it. Its definately an eye catcher. Feel, display and build quality of the phone better than much more expensive samsungs and htc. Micromax, karbon, xolo not even in the league. I have handled the new HTC one and this one togather, both are of same size, but look and feel wise this phone felt better as it was way lighter and thinner.
For around 11k rs (~$200) I paid this rocks.
Finally, it accidentally had a crash test. On the first day of use the phone fell into a puddle of water and was immersed completely for like 3 seconds before it was pulled out. There is no damage on the phone except for a small scratch :)
If you are thinking of buying it go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Anonymous, 09 Aug 2013Yes, it has MicroSD slot.6030D does not have a micro sd card slot, it is only 6030A which has a memory slot and is a single GSM sim supported phone.

Alcatel one touch idol OT6030D. Is an awesome and a super light sleek phone. The phone feels feather light in the pocket and when held in hands. It does not feel cheap at all.
Powered with with 1 GHZ dual core processor with 1 GB of ram, user available is 685mb. In built 16 GB since it is a Dual Sim phone and the memory cannot be expanded. It has a brilliant IPS display that resists finger prints and oil/grease marks. The sound quality of the phone is very nice and crisp. A screen protector comes along with the other accessories.
The camera quality is good and crisp, it aint too bad of a camera that people say. It has different modes of shooting and it captures some great close ups and distant photographs.
The headphones are really really bad, they are too china made with no bass and they suck. Nothing to beat Samsung headphones.
This is a super phone for this budget and I am loving the feel of this phone and till now there has been no lag, i play games flawlessly, whole charging also the phone does not heat up and is comforting to play games. The touch is very delicate, with no gap between the fingers and the screen.
2G talk time is about 8hrs.
I charges the phone for 3 hrs the first day, PLayes games for 2 hrs, watched a Movie on the phone, listen to music on the speakers for about 2-2 hrs n 30 mins, and th battery was still 50%. Awesome.
You can schedule a power off and on. With one touch gesture place your palm on the screen and the hone will lock.
Look in the camera and blink the phone will unlock.
You have a call coming in , dont want to answer while driving and get disturbed, turn the phone over to mute.
Want to snooze the alarm, turn over for snooze. Awesome features.
Over all a very good phone.
Guys Alcatel One Touch Idol :OT6030(A) is a single sim with memory expandable upto 32 GB with 1 ghz DC processor and 512 MB of ram. The OT6030D is a dual sim card phone with 1 gb RAM and 1 ghz DC processor with 16 GB in built non expandable.
(Ps: Yeah people are willing to buy an iPhone with 8,16,32,64 GB inbuilt, there don't seem to be a problem with iPhone where you have no slot for a Micro SD card but when it comes to a company trying to make a mark huh! complaints start).

Is stunning in this price!
I have 6030d with two sims active battery last for a full day !
Remember i am a heavy user about 4 to 5 hours of continuous data
Connection use a day.
It easily beats other sets of the same specs. On price and performance.
