Does the sunshop let you choose your preferrence in the variety of colors? Does come with specific specifications? Sorry for too many inquiries, I have plans on availing a sunplan for this device, it seems very worth it but I need enough opinions :-)

AnonD-140584, 04 May 2013Exaclty why I chose the idol at the same plan.Yes, plus the 1gb ram vs 512mb ram for the scribe easy made the choice easier. But if it were a choice between the idol ultra versus the scribe hd, i would've chosen the scribe hd even if the srp for the scribe hd is lower.

Personally I chose the idol over that one since I find Scribe's size too big and the screen resolution is poor for the size WVGA on a 5" screen vs a qHD resolution on a 4.7" screen. Also, srp-wise, the idol retails for P12k, while the scribe easy is only at P9k.

Previous posters, the phone has 1gb ram. The pics look good. The flash works nicely for night shots. The back cover can't be removed though. Not sure what the back cover is made of, but the phone is really light... but the built is good (is not flimsy).

I went to the office with a fully charged OT Idol from 9am. Went home at 8pm with 51% on normal use, no calls or games.
I suggest turning the unit off while charging as it becomes hot with other apps running in the back ground.
I ordered a clear hard case on eBay. Still can't find any here in the Philippines.

Sphinx03, 29 Apr 2013I just got this phone last week as loyalty phone from my Pl... morewhat color did you get? i saw it at sun shop only silver s available... will it last a day on normal use? been waiting for the scribe hd lte 8mp dual cores i assume its lte version at sun shop... but i think it will be by end of may... hopefully earlier... im still confused which is better scribe in specs? or the idol which is light and compact meaning its more handy...hope you make a review here regarding the idol.... and make a verdict like gsmarena team... thanks for sharing...

I just got this phone last week as loyalty phone from my Plan, been using it for 5 days now. It uses micro SIM which cost me extra to convert from my old SIM.
The screen is beautiful, good thing I chose One Touch Idol over One Touch Scribe which falls under the same plan from my carrier. Battery drains fast about 10% every 2 hours on normal use (not stand by).
I do not like the earphone that comes with it, does not hold very well in any ear (even in my sister's ear). Played IronMan 3 and it has a decent speed, but the game crashes every time I play again.
