Hi. I wonder why I can't send or receive MMS via my Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra phone. I have already downloaded the required network settings and installed it on my handset. There's also indications that my phone has data connection and I made sure that I have sufficient airtime balance. Yet all MMS I tried to send fail. Can anyone suggest an alternative solution to my problem? Thanks.

Better don't buy this phone guys..used it for 5 months now..only two things I appreciated and proud about this phone - it's built design and super slim, that's all..about camera, hmm I guess it's okay or just below-par quality, too much noise and distortion in pictures I took..playing music at high volume seems to have problems too..BATTERY is the most shit ever, only survived a few hours while online (brightness low, gps off..just wifi on)..the movie editor also seems to be useless as it prones to crash somewhere somehow..so what I can proud about this phone for? Just for the outside but not the inside! Just because it's official partner for Iron Man 3 movie that why it raise it's price, but it totally sucks..Better don't go for this phone, lots of problems - for seriously..

after recent firmware update on my idol ultra, i noticed that my battery life was shortened.hw can i get rid of this

Good phone.. Only qualms being that the no recent apps sometimes flashes across the screen when nothings happening and sometimes when your making or receiving a call, the home buttons on the bottom refuse to light up for like 20 seconds... Other than that its all merry in the camp and flock me shes a good looking phone...........

Cheap, great designed, tiny, not so slow. Battery seams OK. After this one, the old Samsung i8750 feels so fat. I am a bit suspicion with the Camera, to be proved. So I am fascinated with this phone :-)

best bang for the buck on the market in my option. l own this thing for 4 months and couldnt be happier. it has all the features other way more expensive phones have and it costs MUCH less. actually its better than them because its slim as hell. a samsung galaxy is literally twice as thick.
the build quality on the outside is great, it can take drops on tramac and it comes in many colors yay!
the only flaws i can think of are the missing earphone plug (an addapter is needed instead which can be annoying sometimes) which l dont care about anyway and the camera which sometimes has some trouble taking the picture as sharp as it should be.
also note that the battery cant be removed, l guess its made to last a few years.

This phone is really sleek. I tried it out in the store today and with 6.5mm thin it feels incredibly unreal. But at the same time it's something special. Screen looks good too. Price is fair, it's definitely a phone to try.

Just got mine 21Dec2013 as a FREE loyalty phone from my service provider.
I had a choice between Samsung Galaxy Grand, Nokia Lumia 720 and Alcatel Idol Ultra. I checked the specs and comments here in GSM arena and this is what I chose.
It's been great so far, everything as I expected.
The only negative I experienced is the battery can only last for a few hours when connected online.
