This was my first "Smartphone", recently had to use it dust it off and use it for a couple months while I waited to replace my broken modern phone.
Works well enough for calling/texting. With the version of Android it has, the vast majority of apps are unsupported and many websites won't even load nowadays. Camera is... "Nostalgic", not terrible but definitely does feel like a cheaper phone from it's time.
Biggest issue is the speed, the thing is NOT fast. Even with no apps besides stock installed apps, texting or any usage of the phone that isn't just a tap every several seconds can sometimes become so slow it's unusable for several moments.
Overall, it works as a good backup nowadays, if you still have one. Definitely wouldn't suggest for a primary daily driver nowadays though.

Lol i had this phone when i was 16 it was so small but to me was normal. I remember getting no signal while texting my gf and i got mad so i slammed it on the table and it said BYEEEEE.

great phone for its time, but with app advancements now days, requires higher processing power and ram. but decent enough if just for calls and message. my very first smartphone ever, quite decent, was happy with it. especially for its low price.

Try to reset you mobile phone (Factory Data Reset) to clean your phone from everything.
if the problem continues then the mobile phone is weaker that the app.

Hi,
My internet provider request that I delete emails to create more space in my Alcatel one touch phone.
After doing do, the trash is now full and when I delete, instead of the trash box emptying, the number of emails double.
Can someone advice on how to handle this problem.

i want a new phone I agree the phone is not exactly something good
but, 5020W model come with 1GB of ram and it is much better and it come with Android OS, v4.1 (Jelly Bean) has no official update for android 4.4.1 so if you 're something improvised therefore not working as it should .

alcatel, 30 Jan 2016if you want to improve battery then there are little tricks... morethat why i did to save battery but I'm just saying about how the phone doesn't have that much battery life but thx for the advice though :)

first delete all useless applications
and those that are in the program and do not need
you you can not delete it , but you can do the 'disable'
and make them easier work for the program.
2. If you installed the Facebook application then delete
facebook work in background all the time and recive data
manual uses the logging via the browser.
3 Turn off Wi -Fi, through the night
4. The screen on low light Brightens
5. The most important .- when the battery reaches 25-30 %
put the Charger and charge up to 95-98 %
going to 100 % 1 \ 2 per month

its good I've had it for 2 years not no problems at all the only problem is the battery it runs out pretty quick ita a good phone for just calling and messaging for like business stuff but if its for gaming or watching videos or movies or like youtube its not the kind of phone you want. The battery is only 1400 mAH so its not that big.

I have problem opening the it says enter SIM ME Lock .. I forgot my pin /sim number ..can anyone help by telling me what to do.
