The alcatel one_touch_pixi already have a VGA camera
but the web site says:
Main Camera: VGA camera (2 Mpxl by software interpolation)

I purchased the phone cause i read (2 MP) on the Box

The camera is 2MP (1200 by 1600)not VGA, but still poor,it must have a 3.15 MP @ least to be a competitor
