I remember getting this phone from my cousin in 2015 (Hello Kitty edition). It randomly bricked itself and bootlooped in 2019 so I destroyed it.

my first ever android phone back 2013 ..released i think around february and i bought it on april..and it was snatched on august ..same with realme 5 only 7months of used when i lost it when im walking..that alcatel i was amazed that time i can play real racing 3 and nba 2k13.. that memories will never erased that alcatel also the rason why i was kick out in my work due to wifi in working day haha

The problem of this phone is not runing well after the coming out of the logo...it mean's not open full the operation of this phone to a standby mode...help me how to fix it...must do resortware or reformet...

Does anyone know how to fix this problem!!😒 My snapchat is working just fine and its updated to save videos and photos from my story,... The problem is ... That when I save a video it comes out saved all distorted and dimented and pixelated!!! I need help finding a way to stop

My problem is when I charge my Alcatel one touch plus 2 night time everything is fine- I installed some apps like Go SMS pro and go launcher. Early morning I open my phone to checked if I have message etc. but if I open some app it's color black and there's a message that the Go SMS pro is not responding. So What I did is turn it off and then when I try to open it again my phone won't turn on and I feel that it's heating. Please help about this matter, any suggestion will do. Thanks

Also your APN needs to be set inorder for any data to be sent or receive
Settings->More->Mobile Networks->Access Point Names.
If you add a APN (Access Point Name) and data isnt working then you SIM card isnt provision for data or you might need to reflash your firmware via Alcatel Onetouch Upgrade.
Try another Sim that Data connection was working on before reflashing

Try pressing the left and right side of the phone. If the screen works when you do that then it means you have to open it up and reconnect the flex cable.
If the screen isn't broken and the screen is white then the flex cable is either unplugged or is making poor contact with the phones motherboard.

Software brick can occur over time from installing apps, corrupting files etc.
So you should reinstall Android on it by downloading Alcatel One touch Upgrade. The download process is a bit slow but you should fix it a day.

Anti alcatel, 23 Apr 2015Do not buy any alcatel. They break down. And you have to go... morelol. Alcatel is no scam. Their company is knew so you shouldnt expect to find parts especially for integrated circuits.

don2, 29 Jun 2015low volume plss. helpMTK Based Phones volume are set volume at set low to prevent hearing loss but if you would like to increase the volume then download a app called " MTK engineering tools ".
There is an option for Audio where you can increase the volume. If you need help msg me.

Try this:
1. Remove the battery for 30 minutes ( Lets the circuits in the phone get rid of any electrical charge which might have caused auto power on).
2. Reinsert battery see if it turns on automatically if it does then the power button is stuck or shorted.
Its good to remove the battery in your phone once a month and let it rest and also drain your battery completely then recharge it with your phone off.

Also if you leave Sync, GPS, Wifi on dont expect the battery to stay fully charged even when its locked. I have noticed people keeping apps opening and saying the phone is at fault when they are the ones not closing those apps.
Also i don't recommend using any phone on a charger it will kill your battery.
